The Stripe Skirt

I went thrifting some weeks back and saw this striped skirt. My love for stripes couldn’t let me pass it but I contemplated if I should get it because I didn’t want a skirt that would make me look bulky.

Hope you are having the best week so far and happy good Friday (Good Friday is a holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ).

This saying that clothes don’t look good unless you wear them is totally true. I went thrifting some weeks back and saw this striped skirt. My love for stripes couldn’t let me pass it but I contemplated if I should get it because I didn’t want a skirt that would make me look too bulky.

Having limited time to shop wasn’t helpful either. So I decided to try it on and I felt in love with it. The skirt has that retro vibe which I absolutely love, and I got lots of compliments on this look. I love the colour too as it is so unique. I love thrifting because you find unique clothes but the sad truth is that you can not find it in stores?

I paired it with a top from Forever 21 and the vest from Sirens. I love love the complete look and would definitely be restyling these pieces soon especially now that it is getting warmer.
